is BuddyCheck?
BuddyCheck is java MIDlet application. You can use it to see
your friend is Online or Offline on Yahoo Messenger, ICQ and
Skype. It actually show the status of a person, if that person
is online according to Yahoo Status Checker and offline in
your Yahoo Messenger, that means he/she has blocked you.
What
does it show if the user is in invisible mode for everyone?
It will show them Offline.
Is
my cell phone compatible with BuddyCheck MIDlet?
Just try to download and start. You will see an error message
if something is wrong. Otherwise, you should be OK.
Your mobile phone must be:
* Java enabled: J2ME MIDP
* configured for WAP
* configured also for Internet access. If you are using GPRS,
some carriers require a GPRS access point (APN) different
from the WAP access point . For instructions, visit your operator's
web site or refer to the following list of Internet
APNs.
What
does it cost?
Your mobile carrier will charge you for the GRPS/UMTS traffic
for downloading the Fakemail application . Additionally also
for transmitting messages over GPRS/UMTS.
Typically, messaging is very low-cost compared to SMS, MMS,
but please check the mobile data fees which apply to your
carrier subscription plan. A certain amount of montly traffic
might be included in your subscription fee.
